Condition Your Physical Condition

Preparing your body for all the physical activities that will be required during the climb is one of the most important things to do. On the way to the top of a mountain, the movement is always up, slow and draining. A tremendous amount of exercise should be followed, weeks or months ahead to gain strength and stamina. Train as much as you can, you will not get to do so when you are there. Walking, jogging, jumping, push ups, sit ups etc., are some exercises you could perform while conditioning your body during preparation. Keep also in mind that you will be carrying your own stuff right from the food, sleeping and climbing equipment and so on.
Along with training your body, training your mind is also essential. Having said this, weak minds seldom venture in to such a sport, but even the strongest BSM Soga of minds could be put to dire test. You need a mental state well prepared for the adversaries that stands between you and the peak. It is recommended that you consult a doctor regarding the climb and your physical readiness from his point of view. He will have some good tips to share.
